This tour proposes a visit in the old town but also vineyards and the village of Hunawihr, known for its fortified church, now a registered historical monument. The ride in the vineyards between Ribeauvillé and Hunawihr will take your breath away.
Ribeauvillé is full of small winding and picturesque streets, lined by endless beds of flowers, beautiful squares adorned by Renaissance fountains and its towers, remains of ancient castles…
This visit lets you enjoy a panoramic view of the three castles majestically looking over the town and neighbouring hills.
Ribeauvillé is a friendly and lively town filled with shops. Its middle-age architecture makes it a real historic gem. During your stay, go admire the town hall with its prestigious collection of goblets in gold, treasure from the Lords of Ribeaupierre!
On your return trip, admire a view of all the three Ribeauvillé castles: the Haut-Ribeaupierre (12th century), the Saint Ulrich, the largest and best preserved (12th and 13th centuries) and the Giersberg (beginning 13th century).

“Old town and Vineyards” tour:
- Lasts about 50 minutes
- The little train runs every day from May 1 to end September. In April and October, open on holidays, during the school holidays and weekends upon reservation. Please contact us by telephone for further questions.
- Evening rides in July and August at 8:45pm, leaving from the Pierre de Coubertin Campsite and 9pm in front of the town hall.
- Departures: at the town entrance, Place du Général de Gaulle (bus and car parking area) and also at the town hall.
- Running Times: between 10am to 6pm (except 1pm). Leaves from the town entrance every hour and from the town hall every half hour.
- Price:
- Adults: 6,50 Euros
- Children from 6 to 14 years old: 4,50Euros
- Adult groups: 5,50 Euros (as of 15 people)
- School groups: 3,50 Euros (up to 15 years old)
